Jamaica National Building Society Foundation
The Jamaica National Building Society Foundation is a charitable organisation established on July 11, 1990 to complement the activities of the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) through the provision of grants to various developmental initiatives across Jamaica. The Foundation promotes and supports:
· Study and research to develop affordable housing solutions especially in rural Jamaica
· Projects which promote the culture of savings
· Education, capacity building and skills training
· Initiatives in health, the arts, sports and culture, as well as religion.
The Foundation is funded primarily by contributions from Jamaica National Building Society and to a lesser extent, the Small Business Loans Limited.
