A major strategy is to deliver excellent service to its customers. In January 2002 the company introduced the ASSIST , a motor accident scene response service to its private car policyholders island-wide, the first of its kind in Jamaica .
In March 2004 BCIC introduced another major innovation with the opening of the ASSIST Care Centre at 9 Caledonia Avenue , Kingston 5. This is a “ One Stop” Claims Service Centre that provides insurance claims service from the “accident to repairs.” Clients who are involved in an accident are able to make a report and have the Centre manage the entire repair process.
